Grade: 4 out of 5 (Excellent)

Rationale: For a supposed ending to the series, even though a fourth installment is in the works, Toy Story 3 wraps everything up nicely. The cast of new toys, headlined by Lotso and Ken, and an increased role for Barbie were perfect complements to the already established group of Woody, Buzz, Jessie, and the rest. The climax of the garbage dump scene was a tad too dramatic, but that’s one of only a couple minor knocks in an otherwise strong movie. Spanish Buzz is the comedic highlight of the movie and if you didn’t get at least a little emotional at the very end when Andy passes on his toys to Bonnie, you might just be dead inside.
