Grade: 3 out of 5 (Good)

Rationale: I personally preferred the supporting characters Bob Curtin (Tim Holt) and the old prospector Howard (Walter Huston) to Humphrey Bogart’s Fred Dobbs because the sheer amount of paranoia from Dobbs was almost unbearable after a while. More action than I expected with a couple gun fights and they balanced out the long stretches of conversation nicely. Another good, not great entry on my list.
