Grade: 2.5 out of 5 (Satisfactory)

Rationale: Not gonna lie, I don’t remember much about On the Waterfront. The movie started out so slow that I lost interest quick and by the time the moderately exciting confrontation between Marlon Brando’s Terry Malloy and Lee J. Cobb's corrupt union boss Johnny Friendly came around I just didn’t care as much as I could have or probably should have. At the least there was one particular speech by Karl Malden's Father Barry that seemed passionate and moving so not all was lost on me.
