Rationale: WALL-E is a movie I’d only seen once before and my initial perception after the first viewing was “eh”. Like this project as done for other movies, though, my feelings have changed for the better after another go. The love story between WALL-E and EVE is quite cute, especially WALL-E as he’s caring for EVE when she goes into standby mode. Animated movies have a hard enough time conveying convincing human emotions in their human characters, let alone non-human characters, but the animators and writers did a superb job here. As everyone has come to expect from Pixar, the imagery is second to none, particularly the outer space scene when WALL-E and EVE pass the rings of Saturn.
