Rationale: Thankfully top lists are subjective because not everyone has the same opinion. When it comes to Snow White I happen to be of belief that it’s not even one of the best “Golden Age” Disney movies (Pinocchio, Bambi, Cinderella, Peter Pan, Lady and the Tramp, 101 Dalmatians, and The Jungle Book are all better). I don’t mean to take anything away from the technical achievement Snow White was in being the first full-length animated feature film. If that’s all it takes, though, to be considered the best by some lists, that’s a poor reason. The animation is classic Disney and holds up well, but some of the dialog and songs don’t after 80 years.
