Rationale: Man, this star studded cast doesn't disappoint. As always, Leonardo DiCaprio was outstanding as the-rat-in-the-mob Billy Costigan, Jack Nicholson was very convincing as mobster Frank Costello, and Matt Damon gives a strong performance as the-mole-in-the-police Colin Sullivan. The rest of the big names in the supporting cast do an more than admirable job too. I don't know if the particulars of the story are memorable enough to stick with me long term, but the acting sure will.
